From our youngest junior kindergarten students to our seniors, students rallied together to donate over 1600 boxes to Operation Christmas Child in November.

Mr. Chad Fair, service coordinator, along with Service Prefect Andrew Caswell, organized this year’s school-wide service project. “The joy that Andrew and I experienced when dropping off empty boxes to go home with the lower schoolers was incredible,” Mr. Fair recalled. “In many classes, they cheered as we walked in. The excitement was contagious!” Seeing the school come together to provide joy and to set the stage for the Gospel blessed Mr. Fair more than he anticipated. Andrew was also encouraged by his peers’ enthusiasm: “I really enjoyed seeing how eager people were to pack as many boxes as they could.” 

After collecting and delivering boxes CCS students and families donated, several families also volunteered at the Samaritan’s Purse Processing Center where they saw firsthand the care and intentionality given to each box. Even more inspiring, the volunteers learned that over 3.1 million professions of faith were proclaimed during box distributions all over the world in 2024. Each person completed a discipleship program, along with their profession of faith. 

It is an honor to partner with Operation Christmas Child in spreading joy to children all over the world and to pray that the truth and hope of the Gospel takes root in their hearts.
