Our ongoing partnership with Brookstone School proves to be an inspiring and meaningful connection for students. Upper School Principal Shonn Brown shared that “it is inspiring to see our students embrace the opportunity to serve the Brookstone School community, truly modeling the hands and feet of Jesus. This relationship reinforces the importance of caring for and serving others. It's a powerful way for our students to put our core values (showing kindness, loving God, walking humbly) into practice.”
 

Upper school students from Mrs. Walker’s cross-cultural communications class and grade 6 students visited Brookstone School to foster and support our ongoing relationship with the school and its students. Middle school students in Global Knights are writing letters to Brookstone students throughout the year and had their first penpal exchange at this visit in September. 

Middle school counselor Lauren Duncan joined other students and faculty on this field trip and reflected, “It was so refreshing to see students step out their day-to-day lives where they are striving for grades and achievement and to just focus on helping and connecting with others.”
