Chapel Choice - Thursday, April 11

If you haven't done so, please go on Canvas today to sign up for your Chapel Choice.

Senior Lunch with Mr. Brown:

The homerooms of Mrs. Jones and Mr. Hardy will have lunch with Mr. Brown in the Tech Lab this Thursday, April 11th. Please quickly grab your lunch and join him there.

NHS Induction Tomorrow:

Please look for an email from Ms. Roth detailing what you need to know for the NHS induction tomorrow.

AP Students:

Please be reminded that you MUST attend a pre-administration session with Mrs. Foxx to bubble in demographic information on your answer sheets. Your AP teachers have the schedule of lunchtime workshops. Please be sure to attend one of these sessions, which will be held in Mr. Hardy's room. Save at least 15 minutes in your lunch period for this. Please bring a pencil, your MacBook and headphones. See Mrs. Foxx with any questions.

All Model UN Club members:

If you will be participating in Wednesday's middle school assembly from 9:30-10:15 please let Mme Young know so that she can communicate with the Middle School for set up, as well as with your teachers about missing part of B2. On Wednesday, please come to Room 302 immediately after B1 (beginning of break) so as to get to the Alkire and be prepared.

There are two scholarship opportunities available for CCS upper school students with demonstrated financial need. The Edwards scholarship is available for students currently in grades 9-10 and offers $1,000 toward next year's tuition. The Launtz scholarship is for students currently in grades 9-11 and also offers $1,000 toward next year's tuition. In addition to demonstrated need, both scholarships require a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA. Please see Mrs. Garrett, Mrs. Foxx or Mrs. Cassier for an application. The deadline to apply is Monday, April 15.

Socks, Snacks & Shakespeare

Please join us on Wednesday, April 24 for Socks, Snacks & Shakespeare. The complimentary event takes place in the Huge Gallery and the Harmon Black Box Theatre. There will be snacks (6PM) and two showings (5PM and 7PM) of an original one-act play (Unshackling Shakespeare's Women) performed by ACT 1. The play incorporates scenes from Shakespeare's plays (Hamlet, Macbeth, and Othello). We ask that you bring a pair of socks that ITS will donate to the Urban Ministry Center.

Act 1 Auditions:

There is a mandatory parent meeting on Thursday, April 11 from 3:30-4 and auditions are on Thursday, April 25 from 3:15-5. To receive additional information and/or an audition packet please email Ms. Blount at angela.blount@charchrist.com

International Thespian Society

In order to be inducted into the International Thespian Society (ITS) for this year, you need to provide your point sheet and $30 (cash or check) to Ms. Blount by April 15. If you have earned enough points to be designated as an honor thespian, there is an additional $22 fee. April 15 is a hard deadline. Please email Ms. Blount (prior to April 15) if you have questions.
