Sixth Grade Student Wins 2017 State Essay Honors in Soil & Water Conservation Contest

Congratulations to sixth grade student Campbell Littlefield on winning second place in the 2017 North Carolina State Essay Contest for the Soil and Water Conservation Department. Students began at the county level and were challenged to write an essay or design a poster with the theme of "Soil and Water...Yours for Life." Campbell previously won first place in the Mecklenburg County Soil and Water Conservation Soil and Essay Poster Contest and then advanced to the state level of the competition.
