2017 Knights Fight Hunger Week Sets New Collection Records

Lower, middle and upper students broke the Knights Fight Hunger Week collection records this year by filling a total of three trucks to capacity with assorted Styrofoam and food service products for the Harvest Center. This annual Charlotte Christian tradition is in its 11th year and brings together the entire Charlotte Christian community in support of the Harvest Center, a local ministry that serves meals to homeless members of the Charlotte community.  Lower, middle and upper school classes competed to bring in the most items and students also wrapped a total of 20,000 forks and napkins.  This year, families purchased Styrofoam take-out trays and cups along with food service gloves in abundance, enough to support the Harvest Center's hot meal program for many months to come.

The Charlotte Christian community was honored to give the following:

51,333   Styrofoam Take-Out Trays
41,551 Styrofoam Cups
39,780 Food Service Gloves
20,000 Wrapped Forks/Napkins
