On Monday, Nov. 14, several Charlotte Christian students and Upper School French Teacher Dawn Young were invited to the Matthews Town Council meeting to be commissioned as "town ambassadors" to the town of Sainte Maxime, France, which they will visit as part of their 2017 J-Term experience.  Matthews and Sainte Maxime began a Sister City relationship in 2014, and this group will represent the first student group to travel between the two sister cities.  Those pictured are Upper School French teacher Dawn Young, freshmen Lilly Mull and Alyssa Verruto, senior Ava Bruns, freshmen Annabella White and Neely Hicks, and Matthews' Mayor Jim Taylor.  Also traveling with the group is senior Jordan Petruk.
