Eugene Robinson presents the Young family with an honorary $22,000 check to benefit the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation at the Boot Camp Benefit honoring CCS sophomore Colby Young.


The Charlotte Christian community came together for a special boot camp benefit on Saturday, Sept. 17 to support the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation in honor of CCS sophomore Colby Young.  Participants at the event raised a total of $22,000, all benefitting the PBTF, and presented the honorary check to members of Colby's family, including his mother, Mrs. Kristin Young.  The event included a morning of physical excercise led by Matthews Boot Camp and emceed by alumni parent and CCS varsity coach, Mr. Eugene Robinson.  More than 350 Charlotte Christian students, parents, and friends received commemorative T-shirts and spent the morning exercising and expressing their support and love for Colby and his family.
