Athletic Complex for Lacrosse, Soccer & Tennis Programs
Charlotte Christian completed phase 2 of the master campus plan with the opening of the new athletic complex on the northern part of campus in November of 2020. The area includes the Harvick Field House with locker rooms for the soccer and tennis programs, bathrooms, a concession stand and a trainer’s room. In addition to the field house, the new area also includes eight tennis courts; Guy Field, an artificial turf field for the soccer and lacrosse programs; a loop road to connect these facilities with the main campus; and additional parking areas.

Center for Worship and Performing Arts
Charlotte Christian completed phase 1 of the master campus plan during the Fall of 2017 with the Center for Worship and Performing Arts campaign. The two-story, 20,515 square-foot building is centrally located on campus behind the Hendrick Center for Arts and Science.

The Center for Worship and Performing Arts houses an auditorium capable of hosting full-scale theatrical productions and weekly chapels as well as various assemblies and annual school events, including band, choir, and orchestra concerts. The state-of-the-art facility includes a scene shop specially designed for set construction; a black box theater for smaller productions; and dressing rooms. A window-lined art gallery will be the edge of one side of the building and will feature original work from our JK-grade 12 artists.

Bryte Little Efird Media Center
Charlotte Christian is kicking off the 2015-16 school year with the newly renovated Bryte Little Efird Media Center which features extensive technology and collaboration zones designed specifically for middle and upper school students. The new media center includes a touch screen interactive TV featuring school events; a digital hearth TV; collaborative booth TVs; a SMART technology interactive projector; private meeting space for faculty professional development; and numerous charging stations and work spaces for students to use their MacBooks or work collaboratively on group projects.

Renovated Athletic Stadium & Track
In the summer of 2015, the school renovated and replaced the synthetic turf on the athletic field and installed a new track.

Hendrick Center for Arts and Science
The new facility was completed in July 2014 to open for the 2014-15 school year. It is the first building on campus to offer instructional space for students in all grade levels. It includes more than 20,000 square feet and houses the lower school STEM lab, media center, technology lab, and music classroom; middle school Latin classroom; orchestra studio; three visual arts studios; an upper school math and science classroom; and an Academic Services Center which includes offices for the school’s director of academics, academic services coordinator, lower school principal, tutoring offices, and the school’s receptionist.

Main Parking Lot
The complete renovation of the parking lot took place in the summer of 2013. The new parking areas were completed just in time for the first day of school for the 2013-14 year. At completion, 65 new and wider spaces had been added to campus, and the traffic lanes had been improved to provide more efficient flow of traffic.

Warner Field House & Guy Gymnasium Expansion
The Warner Field House is a 7,800 square foot facility that was built in conjunction with the expansion to the Guy Gymnasium, both of which broke ground in May of 2012. The new field house includes athletic offices; a multipurpose room designed for use by wrestling, cheerleading, fine arts, and large group meetings; and locker rooms for football, lacrosse, and wrestling. The facility also includes a classroom which can be used for P.E. class lectures, athletic team meetings, and study halls. In addition to the field house, the Guy Gymnasium was expanded by 2,400 square feet to accommodate double court space for basketball and volleyball along with expanded spectator seating.
