Two Middle School Robotics Teams Advance to VEX World Championships

Congratulations to Middle School RoboKnights Team 9635B and Team 9635C who earned honors at the North Carolina State Robotics Tournament and qualified for VEX Robotics World Championships in Dallas, Texas this May. Team 9635B received the Excellence Award which is the highest award presented in the VEX Robotics competition. This award is presented to a team that exemplifies overall excellence in building a high-quality robotics program. By receiving this award, Team 9635B automatically qualified for the world championships. Team 9635C also qualified for Worlds with an at-large bid based on its performance and programming skills.

Middle School Robotics members include: Morgan Banks, Elijah Boythe, Drew Howard, Gavin Lawrence, Sam Lister, Beck McNeer, Cade McNeer, Libby Norvell and Asher Pepper.
