Senior Named Finalist in 2022 National Merit Scholarship Program

Congratulations to senior David Ntim who was named a finalist in the 67th annual National Merit®️ Scholarship Program. He was named in the group of approximately 15,000 students nationwide who were identified as finalists in the 2022 National Merit®️ Scholarship Program. David will now go on to compete for approximately 7,500 annual National Merit®️ Scholarships worth nearly $30 million that will be offered in March.  

David Ntim is the Charlotte Christian spiritual life prefect. David is the founder of the Tech to Africa Project which collects computers, supplies and accessories for a computer learning center in Pepease-Kwahu, Ghana, West Africa. He is a College Board National African American Recognition Program Winner, AP Scholar with Distinction, recipient of the Summa Cum Laude Honor Roll, National Honor Society member, Wofford Scholar Program nominee and was selected his freshman year to receive the freshman male Timothy Award for "service above self." David attended the N.C. Governor's School, received the Charlotte Christian J. Kenneth Cook Award for "steadfastness of character and commitment to Christ," and has a Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish.
