Congratulations to members of both the Lower School and Middle School RoboKnights teams who competed at the 2022 VEX Robotics World Championships this May in Dallas, Texas. The lower school Team 9635J (Chris Hoyle, Chris Jackson, Alex Joosté, Kenny Reilly) participated in the elementary event with teams from around the world in the VEX IQ engineering division. They learned a lot from the experience including perseverance as they overcame issues with repairing their robot and testing it in a new location. They achieved new personal best scores for both driver skills and programming skills ending 250 out of 482 elementary teams for skills in the World.
Seventh graders Elijah Boythe and Drew Howard represented Team 9635C and participated in the middle school event in the VEX VRC research division. They enjoyed meeting teams from all over the world, creating team strategy and trading small items with other teams, a tradition at the competition. They achieved new personal best scores for both driver skills and programming skills improving their total skills score by 60 points!
