Extended Day & After School Clubs

The Charlotte Christian School extended day program provides care beyond the regular school day for students in JK-grade 5. Through organized activities and supervised free time, the Extended Day program is designed to enrich the intellectual, spiritual, social, and physical development of students. Classroom space, craft materials, games, and outdoor play facilities are available to children for homework, play, and various other extracurricular activities.

A wide variety of enrichment clubs take place each day outside of school hours for lower school students. Art, coding, flag football, lacrosse, running, soccer, and STEM are just a few of the clubs lower school students can choose to participate in after school. Club descriptions and registration details will be posted in the weekly Focus email.

Winter youth athletic opportunities include Junior Knights basketball, interfaith basketball, and intramural cheerleading. Descriptions and registration details will be posted in our weekly Focus email.

In an effort to increase after-school accountability and safety for our middle school students, we offer an extended day option for families during regular school days. Our expectation for students remaining on campus after the academic day (later than 3:15 p.m.) is to be in a supervised activity (such as athletic practice or musical rehearsal), working with a teacher, or enrolled in extended day. In extended day, our students will be in a supervised space where they can complete homework and engage with friends. Please contact the middle school office with any questions or to enroll your student in extended day.
