Charlotte Christian School partners with Atrium Health to have an athletic trainer available to our students during the school day and during after school athletic events.

Kaitlynn Seymour
Head Athletic Trainer

Dr. Seymour joined the CCS family after spending two years as the head football athletic trainer at Coastal Carolina University. Prior to that, she was an assistant athletic trainer for the football team in 2022 and a resident athletic trainer with the track and field program in 2022. In 2019, Dr. Seymour received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Emory University, gaining experience with sports rehabilitation and MSK conditions. In December 2021, Dr. Seymour received her Master's in Athletic Training from Lenoir-Rhyne University. During her time as a graduate student at Lenoir-Rhyne, she gained experience working with men’s lacrosse and football. Dr. Seymour is a certified athletic trainer and licensed in the state of North Carolina. She holds certifications in dry needling, IV and CPR. 

 

 

Madison Sitton
Athletic Trainer

Madison is a certified athletic trainer with both a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and a Master of Science in Athletic Training from Old Dominion University. As a former NCAA Division I swimmer, she brings a unique understanding of high-level athletic demands and injury prevention. Her clinical experience spans middle and high school athletics, NCAA Division I and III programs, and physical therapy clinics, providing a comprehensive background in athlete care across various settings.

 

 

Victor Jurkiewicz
Atrium Athletic Trainer

Victor earned his bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from UNC Charlotte in 2023, followed by a master's degree in Athletic Training in 2025. His hands-on clinical experience includes working with athletes at Cannon School, UNC Charlotte baseball and football, and Queens University of Charlotte rugby and triathlon teams.
