Academics
A Charlotte Christian School education is a unique opportunity to experience a rigorous college-prep education but with the advantage of the core of biblical truth at the center of the curriculum and woven throughout the curriculum. This Christian philosophy of education is at the core of all areas of study. True Christian education is not simply a curriculum, which contains a Bible class. It is a manner of teaching in which students are led to make sense of the universe and their place in it by filtering their learning through God’s Word.
College Preparatory Academics
Our commitment to college preparation and educational excellence begins in lower school where our program is intentionally designed to develop students who are inquisitive, engaged and challenged to explore God’s creation and our impact on culture – in the classroom. Our vision continues with the middle school where students can explore their interests and hone their God-given gifts. Our program encourages students to pursue those interests and gifts in greater depth, challenge our students to pursue new experiences and support adolescent learners. The upper school provides robust academic offerings, which allow students to customize an academic program to fulfill specialized interests, embrace intellectual curiosity and encourage students to wrestle with life’s questions from a biblical worldview.
We are called to prepare our students for the imminent experience of college, but most importantly, for the greater endeavor of life. Loving God with all our mind means we must prepare our students to be lifelong learners who can think critically and be powerful, effective communicators. We must help them develop a foundation that prepares them to think creatively in a variety of scenarios and to flourish in global environments where teamwork and collaboration are expected and thus to ultimately impact the culture for Christ.
