Freaky Friday

Winter Upper School Musical

Disney’s Freaky Friday

When an overworked mother and her teenage daughter magically swap bodies, they set off on an adventure to put things right again. Based on the beloved 1972 novel by Mary Rodgers and the hit Disney films of the same title, Freaky Friday is a heartfelt, comedic, and unexpectedly emotional update on an American classic. By spending “Just One Day” in each other's shoes, Katherine and Ellie come to appreciate one another's struggles, learn self-acceptance, and realize the immeasurable love and mutual respect that bond a mother and daughter.

This show contains some teen themes and is recommended for middle and upper school age students. We trust parents to use their best judgment when bringing younger children to this production. Run time is approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes including an intermission.

Japanese Exchange Program

YAMATE GAKUIN HIGH SCHOOL EXCHANGE PROGRAM Charlotte Christian is excited to participate in Yamate Gakuin High School's North American Exchange Program for the fifth time. Students from Japan will visit Charlotte Christian from April 11-25. Host families are needed to house two students per home. Families of all grade levels are encouraged to host. This year's visit will take place during our Easter season. As the only Christian school that exchanges with Yamate Gakuin, this gives us the unique opportunity to share our faith during such a special time. Click here to see detailed information and sign up to host. Current upper school students are invited to travel to Japan and live with Yamate Gakuin host families from July 18-Aug 2. Click here to see more details about the trip and to sign up to travel. Please email Japanese Exchange Coordinator Margaret Jackson with any questions.
