Knights Participate In NCISAA 3A State Championships

The following spring teams and student-athletes will be competing in the NCISAA state championships this week.

Varsity Baseball
The #4 seed varsity baseball (27-6) will host the NCISAA quarterfinal playoff game against #5 Charlotte Country Day on Tuesday, May 15 at 7 p.m.

Varsity Golf
Sophomore David Kocher will represent Charlotte Christian in the state golf tournament May 14 and 15 at the Greensboro Country Club - Farm Course.

Varsity Softball
The varsity softball team (14-4) received the #4 seed and will play on Wednesday, May 16 at 4:30 p.m. The Knights will host the winner of #5 Gaston Christian School vs. #12 North Raleigh Christian Academy that will play on Tuesday, May 15 at 4:30 p.m.

Varsity Track
The varsity track team will participate in the state tournament on Friday, May 18 starting at 3 p.m. and Saturday, May 19 starting at 10 a.m. at Charlotte Country Day.

Admissions cost for state tournament games are $7 for adults, $5 for students and children under the age of 8 are admitted for free.  For more information about the state championships, please visit www.ncisaa.org.
