Capital Campaign

Lighting The Way was the result of much prayer and planning that was conducted by the board of trustees and school leadership beginning in 2004.  Through surveys, small group meetings and the help of campaign planning professionals, four priorities were identified; reduction of long term debt, sustaining the annual Quality Plus Fund (QPF), renovation of current facilities and the addition of new facilities related to the Upper School, Lower School and a Worship/Fine Arts Center.

During the planning process, a lofty goal of $15 million was set - $11.5 million was to be designated for the LTW priorities and $3.5 million would go to support QPF.  Despite the incredibly challenging economic times, the Charlotte Christian community has taken a significant step toward meeting this vision over the last five years by investing $7,308,970 toward LTW campaign projects and $2,825,153 toward QPF totaling $10,134,123 ! This is an amazing testimony to God’s blessings on Charlotte Christian, the love and support of all of our supporters, and a tremendous gift to both current and future students and families.

As this campaign comes to a close, the continued LTW goal is to raise the remaining $1.1 million needed to build the next educational facility.   The school realizes this will not happen apart from the Lord’s continued blessing and the generosity of many.  Thank you to the more than 100 volunteers and 753 families, foundations and corporations who have given generously to make this campaign a tremendous success.
