Music is a glorious part of God’s creation and at Charlotte Christian it is our mission to use music not only to educate for performance, but also as a wonderful expression of praise.

Charlotte Christian has a dynamic music education program including:
• Band
• Choir
• Orchestra

Students in grades JK-3 begin by learning the basics foundations of music and as they enter grades 4 and 5, they have the opportunity to choose band, choir, or orchestra as their fine arts elective. Students continue their chosen studies into middle and upper school where they build on their musical skills and gain a multitude of opportunities to grow and perform in their field. In upper school, students increase their proficiency and prepare for future study by enrolling in AP Music Theory as well as performance classes. Music students in all grades learn more than excellent musicianship – they learn to offer their gifts back to God as an expression of thanksgiving.
