Knights Knews

The Charlotte Christian broadcasting program is designed to educate students on the power of various mass-communication strategies with a unique hands-on approach. Students on the award-winning Knights Knews team at Charlotte Christian use their class time to brainstorm, write, film, edit, and publish news segments, commercials and short films. These student generated pieces are ultimately compiled into a magazine-style show that airs every Friday in the upper school at Charlotte Christian.

Film Studies

Film Studies at Charlotte Christian teach the basics behind this narrative format through various forms of cinematic analysis. Students gain a strong understanding of genre, style, and important historical and contemporary contributions while gaining a clear picture of the film industry’s social and political impact.
