Academic Resources
Directed Studies
The Charlotte Christian School faculty strives to nurture and stimulate each student to his/her full academic potential. In some cases a student is not performing at their potential due to a learning difficulty. These students may apply for acceptance into our Directed Studies Program.
These students are of average or above average intelligence, but are obviously hampered by one or more of the many symptoms that characterize pupils with learning difficulties. The faculty in the Directed Studies Program realizes that nothing is more devastating to the self-image of a student than the mounting feeling of guilt and frustration caused by the inability to perform near the level of his or her potential.
Through the Charlotte Christian Directed Studies Program, a variety of services is available to meet the needs of students having difficulty with the learning process.
For further information on the Directed Studies Program or any of its specific services, please contact Dr. Freida Thomas, directed studies director, at (704) 366-5657, ext. 8008.
