About Us
Charlotte Christian School is an independent, coeducational, interdenominational Christian school for students from junior kindergarten to grade 12. The school is located on 54 wooded acres in southeast Charlotte. Our vision for students includes
the integration of Biblical principles where character, values and essential practical skills are emphasized and modeled; a rigorous academic program is offered; lifetime fitness and athletics are encouraged; and a fine arts program where creative expression is nurtured.
At Charlotte Christian, we nurture and educate the whole child — heart, mind, body and soul — and provide a challenging college-preparatory curriculum that includes honors and Advanced Placement classes; 49 athletic teams; and a broad fine arts program encompassing visual, musical and theatrical skill development. Charlotte Christian is a seven-time ACSI Exemplary Program winner and a 2006 Blue Ribbon School of Excellence. The student population of close to 1,000 reflects a geographical, denominational (134 different Christian churches), racial and ethnic diversity. Every student, in grades JK through 12 participates in local, national and/or international service projects including Habitat for Humanity, overseas mission trips, Operation Christmas Child, Harvest Kitchen and more.
Our faculty and staff instill the vision and practice of excellence into everything we do while partnering with parents to prepare students to excel in college and in life. Our faculty average 15 years tenure.
Charlotte Christian School is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS-CASI) and is also a member of the North Carolina Association of Independent Schools (NCAIS) and the Council on Educational Standards and Accountability (CESA).
