Class of 2017 Valedictorian Abby Yoh and Salutatorian Melissa Goldstein

Charlotte Christian School is honored to announce the valedictorian and salutatorian for the Class of 2017. Congratulations to Abby Yoh on being named the class valedictorian and Melissa Goldstein on being named the class salutatorian. In the fall, Abby will attend Wheaton College in Illinois and Melissa will study at Clemson University. Charlotte Christian School will celebrate the school's 54th Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, June 3 at Calvary Church in Charlotte.  The Class of 2017 includes 102 seniors that have earned more than $5.3 million in college and university scholarships for academic, athletic and fine arts accomplishments.  Senior Knights have been accepted at some of the top colleges and universities in the country including Columbia University, Duke University, Johns Hopkins University, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, North Carolina State University, the University of Virginia, Clemson University, Rice University, Wake Forest University, Wheaton College, William & Mary, and many more.  Please click here to see a complete list of acceptances for the Class of 2017.

Six seniors in the class received National Merit Scholarship recognition including Abby Yoh and Patrick Girard who are both 2017 National Merit Scholarship Finalists.  The following seniors were named 2017 National Merit Commended Scholars: Grace Blevins, Melissa Goldstein, Elizabeth Gowan, and Addison Weaver.  In addition, 23 seniors were named 2017 Honors Graduates for maintaining a GPA of 4.5 or higher during their high school career, 15 were named AP Scholars, 16 have signed to play collegiate sports, and a total of 24 will graduate as lifers, having attended Charlotte Christian since first grade or earlier. 

Class of 2017 Honors Graduates
