For the 10th year in a row, the Charlotte Christian School community came together to fight hunger both locally and abroad in the annual Knights Fight Hunger Week organized by Parent Teacher Fellowship and the development office. Lower, middle, and upper school students competed to bring in the most take-out trays, food service gloves, and peanut butter and jelly jars to help support the ministry of the Harvest Center, a local mission that serves meals to homeless members of the Charlotte community. In addition, students and family members joined together to pack meals for Servants With A Heart, a local ministry that sends food to families in Nicaragua.
This annual tradition at Charlotte Christian is an opportunity for lower, middle, and upper school students to work alongside one another and truly be the hands and feet of Jesus and impact the culture for Christ.
The community also broke records this year in the number of take-out trays and food service gloves that were brought in to help in the service of the Harvest Center, and families packed nearly 89,000 meals for Servants With A Heart.
