Upper School

Excerpt: Information regarding the Upper School at Charlotte Christian.

Whereas the lower school focuses on building a strong foundation and the middle school on young people stretching their wings; the upper school emphasizes preparing students to engage their culture with confidence, competence and caring knowing that …God did not give [them] a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self discipline.
(II Timothy 1:7)

This preparation includes:

  • academic development related to core knowledge and the skills of thinking, communicating and relating;
  • spiritual conviction related to knowing what they believe as Christians and why;
  • as well as continued growth in Christian character.

Particular attention is placed on students understanding the world God calls them to impact, as well as the special gifts, talents and calling with which they have been uniquely equipped.
