The Anglers Club
The Anglers Club will provide students the opportunity to enjoy God’s creation while fishing and connecting with one another in the midst of outdoor beauty. Art In Action Club
This club meets once a month to creatively contribute to the needs in the school and community. Those interested should have a desire to use their gifts and talents to serve others. They will work on group projects such as Love Luggage and the Charlotte Christian December Art Fair to benefit non-profit organizations. The club will also help with set-up or clean-up of art competitions and shows and take requests from the teachers for bulletin board help. Book Club
This club creates a high interest for others to have a true love for reading. This club encourages students to read books for pleasure and to create thought provoking discussions without losing the true message the text has to offer. C.E.L.L. Groups (Christian Embracing Life and Leadership)
This activity is a student-led Bible study that takes place each Wednesday morning. C.E.L.L. groups exist to glorify God through deepening the spiritual life of Charlotte Christian School by serving as an avenue for fellowship, accountability, mentoring, and encouragement in the lives of the student. It is the goal of the leaders and advisors to foster a safe, secure and trusting environment where students have the freedom to discuss their faith, share their struggles and receive encouragement, prayer and Godly counsel. C.E.L.L. group leader training will begin in September, and C.E.L.L. group meeting times will begin the first week in October. Chemistry Club
Chemistry Club meets every other Wednesday at lunch in Mrs. McGinn’s room (311) beginning in October. To participate, students must have completed one year of Chemistry. Club 14:21
This club is named after Proverbs 14:21 and aspires to reach out and help the people of the Charlotte region with service and care in God’s name. He wishes for us to do good works and help His children and that is the very foundation of this club. Students will participate in community service projects and impact the culture for Christ. Club 32
Club 32 is based on Job 32:8-9. This club strives to make God the center of their focus through service, accountability and fellowship.
Culinary Critics Club
This club visits fine restaurants throughout Charlotte approximately once a month. Members will critique their meals and then write a review in the Lancer, the school newspaper. Due to attendance restrictions club membership is limited to grades 11 and 12. Please contact ? for more information.
Environmental Club
The Environmental Club meets once a month in Mrs. Craddock’s room (309) beginning in September. The club is open to all upper school students interested in preserving the environment. Along with the monthly meetings which take place during lunch, the students will take on service projects such as beautifying the Charlotte Christian campus, adopting a stream, planting flowers in the years of the Habitat for Humanity homes and paper recycling. French Club

Health Careers Club
Healthcare is more than a career, it's a passion. Learn more by joining the Health Careers Club led by the Charlotte Christian School nurses. Goals include regular club meetings held by Charlotte Christian nurses; speakers from the medical, nursing and allied health professions; a field trip to Carolinas Medical Center patient skills simulation lab for hands on experience and demonstration by emergency team members; education in first aid and assessment skills, service projects including Red Cross Blood Drives, participation in the Johnson & Johnson Campaign for Nursing's Future. The club will meet approximately two Wednesdays a month during lunch period. International Thespian Society
Charlotte Christian holds a charter membership in this honor society for theatre students. Members are inducted at the end of each school year and must meet minimum requirements as outlined by the International Thespian Society. All interested students may apply. Students involved in the ITS are involved in arts service projects, community building activities, as well as promotion of the arts on the Charlotte Christian campus. The Latin Club
The Latin Club stands to further educate Latin students in the Latin language, culture, history, mythology and modern uses. Students will gain a deeper appreciation of the Latin literature, and customs of the classical world.
National French Honor Society (Société Honoraire Française)
A student in grades 10-12 who has reached the second semester of third-year French may be eligible for membership in the Charlotte Christian chapter of the National French Honor Society. The Society meets infrequently on a need-only basis. Activities include peer tutoring, table française and helping with the induction ceremony in the spring. National Honor Society (NHS)
National Honor Society serves to provide students with opportunities to serve their community. It also recognizes outstanding student accomplishments. Any student may attend an NHS sponsored service project, but to become a member of NHS, students must demonstrate excellence in scholarship, service, character, leadership and also have three teacher recommendations. Students must meet academic requirements (see ACADEMICS in family handbook) and be active in the Knights Service program. National Spanish Honor Society (Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica)
A student in grades 10-12 that has reached the second semester of third-year Spanish may be eligible for membership in the Charlotte Christian chapter of the National Spanish Honor Society. Activities include peer tutoring, occasional service activities, periodic social get-togethers, and helping with the induction ceremony in the spring. The Political Club
The Political Club will provide students that have an interest in politics to express their views and ideas while using God’s word as a filter. Students will be educated on new political ideals, events and issues. If you are excited about politics this is the club for you. Spirit Band
This group is available for all students who are currently enrolled in a band course, as well as those interested in continuing to play although not in a class. Students meet on a weekly basis after school hours to rehearse, and perform at selected home football and basketball games, as well as other various venues both on campus and the community. Student Government Association (SGA)
The SGA represents the student body to the administration as they solicit the needs and cares of the student body. Members of SGA plan the homecoming week activities, Winter Week activities, community service events and events related to community, state and the nation. TRI-M Music Honor Society
TRI-M is the international honor society recognizing music students for their musical ability, academic excellence, school involvement, and community service. Members are inducted in the fall and must meet the minimum requirements set forth by Music Educators National Conference for Tri-M membership. Any upper school student who participates in a music ensemble (Wind Ensemble, Chamber Ensemble, Choir, Praise Band, Jazz Band, or Spirit Band) may apply. Students involved in Tri-M are required to perform two music service requirements. Information will be distributed in ensemble classes in August.
