Q: How is your school different from other schools?
A: Charlotte Christian School overlays a commitment to academic excellence with a Biblical world view. Our mission statement guides all aspects of school and community life, from classrooms to the athletic fields, on stage and off campus. Our goal is to develop students both academically and spiritually to impact the culture for Christ.
Q: How is your school accredited?
A: Charlotte Christian School is accredited through the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the Council on Accreditation School Improvement (SACS-CASI). Additionally, our school received the Blue Ribbon Award, given by the United States Department of Education to honor public and private schools that are either academically superior or demonstrate dramatic gains in student achievement. Charlotte Christian School was recognized because our students scored at the 90th percentile or above in both reading and math on standardized tests. We use the Comprehensive Testing Program (CTP-4).

A: We have an extensive set of summer offerings. Access the list of summer offerings for the summer of 2010.
Q: Do you take students in mid-year?
A: Charlotte Christian School has ‘rolling admissions’, meaning we accept applications throughout the year, if there are openings. It is difficult, however, for US students on a block schedule to move to our A/B class format in mid-year. Each situation is carefully and prayerfully evaluated by both admissions and principals.
Q: Will my child/my family feel welcomed?
A: Charlotte Christian School’s parent led groups, PTF (Parent Teacher Fellowship) and N.E.W. (Newcomers Embraced & Welcomed) host several events throughout the year to assist new families and students in assimilating into community life at our school. Both parents and students have buddies to guide them through the ‘firsts’ of school activities.
Q: What opportunities, beyond the classroom, exist for students?
A: In addition to fine arts and athletic opportunities, we offer a number of additional opportunities for lower, middle and upper school students.
