Music is a glorious part of God’s creation and at Charlotte Christian School our mission is to use music not only to educate for performance, but also to express praise. Beginning in JK – grade 3, students will learn the basics of music so that in grades 4 – 5 they can participate in choir, band, or orchestra. Students can continue these studies into middle and upper school where they build on their musical skills. In upper school students will increase their proficiency and prepare for future study by enrolling in AP Music Theory as well as performance classes. The music department strives to fulfill the guiding principles of Charlotte Christian School to educate the whole child. From JK – grade 12 music students at Charlotte Christian School learn more than excellent musicianship – they learn to offer their gifts back to God.
